Top speakers to headline HbbTV Symposium 2023

Geneva, November 10, 2023 – Top-level executives and experts from leading market players will discuss the latest developments in the connected TV industry, unveil new products and services and provide exclusive insights in next-generation applications at the 11th HbbTV Symposium and Awards on November 28-29, 2023 in Naples, co-hosted by the HbbTV Association and Italian digital TV association Comunicare Digitale.

The conference programme will cover topics such as an update on targeted advertising and dynamic ad replacement solutions enabling new monetisation opportunities for TV broadcasters, HbbTV-based audience and ratings measurement, the key role of HbbTV in the new DVB-I specification and HbbTV driving FAST Channels to explore new audiences.

The second day will, for the first time, feature an unconference at which the participants will decide on the agenda and topics, actively shaping and driving the discussions and conclusions. Ideas for unconference sessions are being collected via an online platform: all HbbTV Symposium participants are invited to submit the topics and questions of most interest to them and which could form the basis of a session at the unconference.

The HbbTV Symposium 2023 will also host the 6th edition of the HbbTV Awards, featuring a wide range of categories designed to acclaim best practice and excellence in the HbbTV community. The jury with industry experts will select the winners from the shortlists which have recently been announced. The prizes will be awarded at a prestigious ceremony in the evening of the first conference day.
