Summary of topic:
Join us for an overview of ORB, the open-source HbbTV browser. We’ll review this year’s progress and discuss milestones planned for 2025. Key features include HbbTV 2.0.4 conformance, DVB-I integration, and OpApp support, including Freely. Feedback from the community is welcome to help guide ORB’s future development.
Session goals:
The goals of the session are:
- Provide an update to the community on the features added to the Open Red Button (ORB) open-source HbbTV solution during 2024,
- Provide an overview on what new features are planned for 2025.
- Seek feedback from the community on what else would be welcomed for future developments.
