Summary of topic:

Growth and success of HbbTV requires innovation, and that innovation is most likely to come from the developer community, who are directly developing applications and solutions. What is needed to build a vibrant developer community?

Session goals:

The session goals are to work together to gain answers to the following key questions:

  • What information do developers require? What is difficult to access or difficult to understand?
  • What tools are needed?
  • How best to communicate with developers and build community?
  • Where do developers see innovation coming from?
  • What areas of HbbTV are developer most interested in?
  • Where are there strong developer communities that we can learn from?
